- History of India - This section is Huge one and because they have not mentioned particularly that which section to prepare. So we have to prepare all the three main section of Ancient History, Medieval History and Modern History.

These are strictly according to syllabus but if you don't want to read all these and want some very brief and one in all type book for GK then Tata Macgraw Hill GS manual is also very good :

2. TMH Samanaya Adhayan/ Gyan Manual - Hindi Medium
And if you want More brief then Choose either Lucent GK or Arihant GK
1. Lucent GK - English (Book is amazing brief and accurate)
2. Lucent GK - Hindi
1. Arihant GK - English ( Similar to Lucent GK)
2. Arihant GK - Hindi
General English
1. General English by S. P. Bakshi ( its very very Good book almost every topic is given very good)
2. General English by Lucent ( this is also very good book with a lot of depth)
Optional Subject
1. Arihant GK - English ( Similar to Lucent GK)
2. Arihant GK - Hindi
General English
1. General English by S. P. Bakshi ( its very very Good book almost every topic is given very good)
2. General English by Lucent ( this is also very good book with a lot of depth)

DeleteThere are some wrong answers as per my limited knowledge.
ReplyDeleteThese are:
1. Article 32 clearly mentions four writs but the answer key doesn't include so. https://indiankanoon.org/doc/981147/
2. Vedanta vala: I think answer should be Dayananda Saraswati, he was the the main propounder of Vedantic thought.
3. Dominian status was first spoken during WWII. So answer should be Linlithgow. Irwin who presided over First round table conference, didn't even mentioned it in the conference.
4. Jhoom Cultivation: Assam doesn't largely practice it. As per the below link it is Odisha.
https://academy.gktoday.in/article/shifting-cultivation-features-extent-and-environmental-impacts/
5. Jute industry: it is facing competition from synthetic packing material (common sense). So answer should include it.
6. Ajanta of Himalayas: Tabo but key says Dhankar. http://www.incrediblespiti.com/tabo-monastery-the-ajanta-of-himalayas/
7. Festival in which cattle given rest: Cherwal but the key says Haryali.... https://www.himachalworld.com/himachal/himachal-famous-fairs.html
8. Bullet train coverage: max in Gujarat (google map se dekh lo). Ahmedabaad se Vapi ka distance he 364 km h.
All the free to comment on it.
yes they r wrong..........93 and 99question is a repeat.in logon se 100 questions bhi ache se set nh ho sakte
DeleteArticle 32 clearly mentions 5 writs (Habeas corpus, mandamus, prohibition, quo
Deletewarranto, certiorari )
Vedanta waale ka Vivekananda hi hai.
